Apple's 1 Button Mouse

Many PC users tell me that they do not like Macintosh because it comes with 1 button mouse. I thought so when I started using Mac two years ago. But I came to realize very quickly, you could use standard PC 2 button mouse with Mac. It works just like a PC. Also, you can hold down Control key when you click on the mouse, it will make the 1 button mouse act like right click.
Although it is true that 2 button mouse is better than 1, I guess Apple wants to make sure they are different from PC. It is much like Porsche keeps it 911s engine in the rear of the car. They want to keep their identity and I respect that.
