I can access the first floor

I can access the first floor from my room without going out of my room. As a part of expansion, we are connecting the second floor to the first floor. I will be moving to the first floor new office soon.
Today, we knock off the wall to connect my current office to the first floor. Needless to say, there is no heat in the first floor during the construction. My room temp. rads 54 now.
