SSD Upgrade

I have upgraded my friend's MacBook by replacing 120GB HDD to 240GB SSD. It did not go well first few times. I had to ERASE (format) SSD several times before I worked.
This will make his 4 year old MacBook so fast, it can compete with newer MacBook Pros.
