I was asked to rebuild data center operations three days ago. I have not done much yet but I already notice there is a communication problem among the people at data center. They often do not understand what they are doing except they are asked do somethings.
I am not very happy with the operations there. Nobody is accountable for anything. I need to fix that.
Here is one example, this images show the pile of old data cables which we have replaced. They are just piled up in the office. Nobody is questioning where those cables should go. I need to teach people to clean and organize and communicate.
I was not sure whether I should post this picture or not. But I am sure I can make this team operate better, so I needed to post BEFORE pictures.
