I bought a Jaguar XF for my wife because it had a great offer. Few days ago, we notice the crack on the windshield. I arrange the replacement but something unexpected happened.
Jaguar told us there is no spare windshield anywhere in the US and they need to ship it from the UK and it will take at least three weeks. This would not have happened for most of other imports including Mercedes and BMW. I think I would not consider purchasing a car from Jaguar/Rand Rover knowing they do not have infrastructure and stock to service their vehicles. But that is something we really never think about when you buy a car.
