This is not an light rail ... it is a heavy rail system which can transport much more people at faster speed. The trains run every few minutes. It was developed longtime ago and being updated constantly. Also, it is still expanding.
Transportation charges are based on the distance. They have fully automated ticketing and gating system at every station. Safety records are high except for occasional subsides.
Is this what many cities in the US are trying to implement?
