Destroying Old Credit Card

Half of those will go into one bin and other half will go to another bin.
Is this shredded enough?
New card came ... Only one and new one have the same exp. date. But the card number is different. I don't know why I got it. But I destroy the old one using my metal cutter.
Security is my first priority.
