You really have to cherish the moment. Time is a cruel thing. Tome makes everything into a past. Memory is never as good as real thing. But that is all you have left soon or later. Then, there will be your time.
When I saw my father passed, I was sure it was cruel for him to suffer like that for last few days. I really thought there should be a way to end his suffering. I had that choice with Pompom and I exercised it. I am trying to tell myself that was a good choice for Pompom. I cannot not see him suffocate and die.
But you still feel I wish I could spend more time with Pompom.
All I can say is "I am sorry."
