A Little Early Birthday Celebration

Today is not actually my birthday. Since my birthday falls on the weekend this year, everyone at the office celebrated it a little early.

I am no longer at an age when getting older feels especially exciting. Still, I suppose it is worth celebrating the fact that I have made it this far. I had a very enjoyable day. And please do not worry—I am not feeling sick at all.

What surprises me most these days is how quickly time passes. When I was in elementary school, the last five minutes before recess felt as long as two or three days feel to me now.

So, I am another year older. I hope I can work a little smarter this year.

Fortunately, computers are becoming smarter too. I can have documents read aloud instead of reading everything myself, and I can ask AI to improve my writing. Technology has made life much more convenient.

With a little help from these new tools, I will keep learning, working, and moving forward for another year.

Disclaimer: I use AI as a tool to help create images and proofread my writing. However, the ideas, opinions, experiences, and messages in my posts are my own. AI does not generate my posts for me. It simply helps me present my own words and ideas more clearly.

ABOUT THIS BLOG

I was born and raised in Japan and have spent most of my adult life in the United States. Through this blog, I share Japanese culture, language, expressions, and wisdom. My goal is not to say one culture is better, but to explore different perspectives and what we can learn from them.

Your comments are always welcome.
