Can you tell a brand just by looking at this picture?
I bought new irons.
Until now, I have been lining up the irons for the purpose of ease of hitting.
But this time it's different.
This time, I didn't change the clubs for ease of hitting, but to challenge myself.
I can't call myself an expert in golf although I've been playing for a long time.
But recently, I've noticed that I've been making a lot of compromises such as using easier clubs or softer shafts because I'm getting older.
This set is not acceptable for me. It is not fun any more.
I selected those irons which have
(1) Steel Shafts (Not Carbon)
(2) X-Stiff (Not Stiff)
(3) Forged Blades (Not Cast Iron Cavity) Heads
This may totally kill my golf but it's interesting.
to think of it as creating a new challenge for me.
This is an opportunity to change the way I hit.
I am eager to use them. That is a renewed feeling.
Today I'm talking about golf, but this isn't just about golf.
It's no fun not to change.
Nothing should be the same everyday.
Status Quo is not what I do.
With the new set of golf clubs that I may not be able to hit ... that is fun!!!
