結局買えなくなった Lexus LS 400 が決まった時点で、1959 Mecedes Benz 220S のレストアを再開することにきめ、先週から少しづつ手をかけ始めている。今週はバッテリーを買いに行って入れ替えよう。エンジンをかけて動くことを確認しないと。

In the end, when it became clear that I couldn't purchase the Lexus LS 400, I made the decision to resume the restoration of my 1959 Mercedes Benz 220S. Starting from last week, I have been gradually working on it, dedicating my time and effort to bring it back to its former glory. This week, I plan to buy a new battery and replace it, ensuring that I can start the engine and confirm that it runs smoothly.

It's quite astonishing to think that this car was manufactured in the same year I was born. It serves as a reminder of its age and the history it carries.
