もうすぐコンピューターを使うのにキーボードが不要になると思う。

今でもコンピュータは見る限り ディクテーション機能を使って音声入力をしているが、英語と日本語の切り替えなど設定画面を開けなければいけない部分が多い。これらが全て言語認識まで自分でしてくれて音声で入力できるようになる時代がもうすぐ来るような気がする。 私は昔からブラインドタッチができないのでキーボードを見ながらタイプすることがほとんど。そうなるとタイプミスも多い。音声入力はそういう面で非常に助かる事は言うまでもない。また歳をとってきたのでどうしても画面を見るのに老眼をかけてしまう。そういうことから考えると 画面にある文字をもっと簡単に選択して読んでくれるようになってくれると嬉しい。でもそういう時代がそれほど先には無いような気がする。楽しみだ。

 

I think soon the keyboard will become unnecessary when using computers. Even now, computers seem to rely on dictation functions for voice input, but there are many parts where you have to open settings screens to switch between English and Japanese, for example. I have never been able to touch type, so I mostly type while looking at the keyboard. As a result, I make a lot of typing mistakes. Voice input is incredibly helpful in that regard. Also, as I've gotten older, I find myself straining my eyes to look at the screen. Considering these factors, I would be delighted if it became easier to select and read the text on the screen. But I don't think that era is too far away. I'm looking forward to it.
